Dubai was a fitting stage for this event as our main topic of conversation was devoted to the Safe/Smart City initiative in Dubai. Dubai has already had its place confirmed as one of the smartest cities in the Middle East, by the Smart City Index 2021 from IMD-SUTD. It ranked in 29th position globally, and Dubai has ambitious plans to weave technology into the very fabric of its existence.
